Putty X forwarding

If we want to use X programs from some Linux box (programs in graphical mode), sitting on Windows machine, we can do next:

1) install Putty on windows machine (download from here
2) download Xming X server for Windows from here
3) install both of them

Run xming.

Run Putty but with enabled
SSH -> X11 -> Enable X11 forwarding

in “X display location” put “localhost:0.0″

After logging to Linux box, type any program name you want to use.
